On the negative side it has become clear that Hunter takes after his mum. It’s a constant flow of nonsense. No-one can get a word in!
It also isn’t so sweet or funny when he does it at 3.30am. This week it seems that, like a child who’s discovered he can skate board and does nothing but scare old ladies down the road for 4 weeks, Hunter is obsessed.
Unfortunately this influx of talking gibberish has coincided with my parents visiting (In Devon [see photos below]) and Sarah and I having to share a room with Hunter. Ouch!
That said his and our lack of sleep is because he’s acquiring language which makes it both important and incredible. Although it’s probably about 8 months away it seems with his sharp enthusiasm for chit-chat soon he won’t need to cry to get our attention – he’ll be able to express himself clearly enough to tell us we’re plonkers.
In the meantime as my son would say - 'burrrr, burrrr, ya, he he!'
